Anti-Spam Policy
An invitation is personal. If it lands with someone who was never invited, it is just unwanted mail with a pretty layout. Our service is built for guest lists, not for distribution lists, and we do not allow it to be used as one.
Our guarantees
- Messages go only to the guest list the host entered for one specific event.
- Guest lists cannot be reused for another event without the host re-entering and confirming them.
- Hosts confirm that they know every guest personally and have their address from them.
- Guest data is not shared with suppliers, sponsors or partners.
Not allowed
- Importing purchased or collected address lists as "guests".
- Using an event invitation to advertise a business.
- Inviting people en masse who have no connection to the hosts.
- Continuing to write after a guest has asked to stop.
When we receive a complaint
- We confirm it and identify the event and the host from the headers.
- Further messages for that event are paused until we have spoken to the host.
- Misuse leads to the account being closed and the guest list deleted at once.
- Blocklist operators can request the details of the case from the address below.
Received an invitation by mistake?
Forward it with full headers to the address below. We will make sure you receive nothing further for that event and check how your address got on the list.
